This base is intended to collect all the films shown at the annual Cannes Film Festival. This includes films In Competition, Out of Competition, Un Certain Regard, Special Screenings, Cinefondation and shorts. These categories represent what the Festival defines as the Official Selection. It does not include the films of the Directors' Fortnight - nothing against them - it's just not the Festival. It is a work in progress - largely complete - fun to explore for the films in the year you were born, or graduated form high school or college, got married, had a child, got divorced - whatever.
