I propose that this base be promoted to the commons. One question is where it would go. Perhaps in the Travel domain? Or perhaps a new domain in the Special Interests category?
Also, I do have some questions about the importance of modeling Disney parks distinctly from other amusement parks. What's the reasoning behind it?

As with Zoo, /travel seems reasonable, but it doesn't seem quite right.
Disney parks have this idea of "lands" which are kind of unique, but it could be modeled generally as Amusement Park Area or something. Disney park rides do have a good reason to be split out -- for their ticket type requirement (E ticket, etc.).

If any non-Disney parks have similarly-separate areas, generalizing it would be a good idea, I think. Keeping Disney rides separate for their ticket type makes sense, then. (I found this while looking them up: http://www.yesterland.com/abcde.html

Other parks do have such areas, it turns out. Planet Snoopy, for example. So I'd vote for merging the Disney Theme Park type into the plain old Amusement Park type (this is probably easier than moving the "lands" property), renaming the "lands" property to "areas", renaming "Disney Theme Land", and moving the "land" property from Disney Ride to Amusement Ride. This would leave Disney Ride and Disney Ticket as the remaining Disney types, which I think is fine.

Sounds fine to me.

I have an idea: Let's make this a new commons domain (in the special interests category), rather than sticking it in Travel.
