But whatever is best, I've just always seen them as being billed together for film scoring credits.

We should split them so we can get biographical information on each (birthdates, dates of death, etc)

Creating a Musical Group is not a bad idea… It could be done before or after the split, but given that splits are still a ways from execution, it might be a better idea here to just create new topics for the individuals.

In that case, would it be a good idea to create new topics and remove the types from the pages to be split? I didn't realize split hadn't been implemented yet (although it occurs to me now that I've never actually seen one happen).
