            I'm trying to build the Vermont base up but many fields use city and not state as a value.  I realize that there's a connection between the city and the state, so I should be able to pull the query based on that relationship.  Unfortunately, I haven't learned mql yet. 

            So is mql currently the only way to do this?  If so, then I need to bump up my learning schedule :)

              Have you tried using the new "deep query" feature for filtered views?  It lets you go out another level (or levels) like eg. "Film -> Filming location -> Contained by -> Name is Vermont"
