Addams Family Reunion is a 1998 film based on The Addams Family television series. While created mainly for the direct-to-video market, it did premier first on television on Fox Family. It is not a continuation of the two Paramount Addams Family films from 1991 and 1993, but is instead a reboot of the franchise. This film also served as a pilot of sorts for the television series The New Addams Family, showing that a lush theatrical look could be achieved on a much smaller budget.
