Canary Wharf Film Festival en
The Canary Wharf Film Festival (CWFF) is an arts event celebrating commerce and creativity. Based in the heart of London¬タルs prestigious business district, the Festival offers a sophisticated and complimentary programme of feature-length and short films, documentary, and animation. The Festival will launch late summer and run between 13-17 September, 2007 (Thursday - Monday). It will culminate in an Awards Ceremony, commending film submissions in the categories of drama, documentary, and animation. Canary Wharf is renowned for world-class business practice and commercial prestige. One of the aims in establishing this film festival for the area is to cultivate new relationships with creative organisations, helping to foster a cultural dimension to the area and it¬タルs identity. CWFF also aims to play a key role in the long-term regeneration campaign for east London. The Festival will serve the development¬タルs employees as well as film executives and film aficionados all over the UK. Local residents can contribute to the burgeoning creativity of the locale and the attraction of such an event will bring visitors to a new part of London.
