David Lawee is a Canadian born entrepreneur. He earned a philosophy degree at the University of Western Ontario, a law degree at McGill University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. David currently works at Google as head of Corporate Development. David's experience as a serial entrepreneur and VC gives him a unique lens on the M&A landscape. He is extremely well respected in Silicon Valley. Prior to leading Google's M&A team, David was the VP of marketing at Google, leading consumer, B2B and channel marketing worldwide. Before joining Google, David was a co-founder of Xfire, a gaming social networking service that was acquired by Viacom for $108M. Before that he was the co-founder of Mosaic Venture Partners, a $130M VC fund based in Toronto. David started his career at McKinsey & Co..
