Dennis Doughty serves as Vice President of Engineering. With nearly two
decades of experience in the high tech industry, Mr. Doughty has
extensive experience in software architecture, interface design,
strategic planning and project management. Before JumpTap, Mr. Doughty
served as Vice President of Engineering for Pantero where he
spearheaded development of the company's groundbreaking semantic
integration suite. Prior to Pantero, Mr. Doughty served as Vice
President of Engineering at Lycos. In this role, he led a global team
responsible for the content and architecture of major Lycos Network
properties, including Lycos Search, HotBot, and MyLycos. Prior to
Lycos, Mr. Doughty served as Director of Engineering at Grasp
Information Corporation, where he was responsible for the company's
flagship knowledge management system, and at Interleaf, Inc., where he
directed the company's document management offerings. Mr. Doughty has
also held senior engineering positions at Inter national Lisp
Associates and Symbolics, Inc. Mr. Doughty holds a Bachelor of Science
in Computer Science Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.
