Harold Francis Davidson, born at Hound in Hampshire, sometimes known as the "Prostitutes' Padre", was a Church of England priest, often referred to as the "Rector of Stiffkey". In 1932 he was defrocked on charges of immorality. He died after he was attacked by a lion in a cage.
