KMines is a minesweeper game for KDE, originally created in 1996 by Nicolas Hadacek under the GPL. It is part of the Kdegames package.
KMines has three default sizes, "easy", "normal", and "expert", as well as custom levels. The custom levels can have dimensions from 5×5 to 50×50 squares. It is possible to play with just the keyboard. The colors, mouse buttons, and tile sizes are configurable. Some cheat modes are built in, together with a solver, an adviser, and the "magic reveal" mode. Worldwide high scores are available on the official site.
