Modellus is a freely available software package that enables students and teachers (high school and college) to use mathematics to create or explore models interactively. Indeed, Modellus is specially well suited to introduce computational modeling for allowing an easy and intuitive creation of mathematical models using just standard mathematical notation, for having the possibility of creating animations with interactive objects that have mathematical properties expressed in the model, for allowing the exploration of multiple representations and for permitting the analysis of experimental data in the form of images, videos and tables. In addition, Modellus has the potential to be enhanced to allow direct data analysis coming from sensors and videos. Hence, the project will also involve a task related to the enhancement of Modellus as a computational modeling tool. With Modellus the emphasis is on modeling focusing on the meaning of models. It has been publish in several different languages (Portuguese, English, French, Russian, Chinese, Greek, Polish, ...) and is used all over the world with samples ranging from Physics to Mathematics, going through Mechanics, Chemistry, [ - ]
