  • The New York International Children's Film Festival is an annual Oscar-qualifying event that seeks to "promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3–18 and to help define a more compelling film for kids". It was founded in the late 1990s by Eric Beckman. It is the largest film festival for children and teenagers in the United States. NYICFF is produced by film distribution company GKIDS. In addition to the annual three week long festival in March, NYICFF provides year-round programming with monthly presentations at various New York City theaters.
