The Leaf is the world's best selling highway-capable all-electric car ever, with global sales of over 150,000 units by November 2014. The leading markets are the United States with over 69,000 units delivered through November 2014, Japan with about 46,500 units sold through October 2014, and Europe with over 32,300 up to November 2014. As of September 2014, the European market was led by Norway with over 11,000 new units, and the UK with over 6,000 units delivered.
