Phi Zeta Tau (ΦZT) was founded on February 10, 1983 by Dustie Isaka and Stacee Takemoto becoming the first Asian American sorority at UCI (University of California, Irvine). Phi Zeta Tau holds an associate status in the Panhellenic Association of UCI, is an active member of AGC (Asian Greek Council of Southern California), and an active member of MGC (Multicultural Greeks Council of UCI). The sorority symbol is a heart and the mascot is thumper Orchid honesty, kindness, love, respect, and goodwill Provide charitable services toward the school and its surrounding communities Provide the opportunity for everlasting friendship and sisterhood Maintain common goals as a group which are continually applicable to campus and personal life Promote scholastic achievement Enhance social life and cultural awareness Maintain enthusiastic school spirit [ - ]
