Shirukume was a British post-hardcore band from Worcester. They possess a technical, melodic style similar to bands such as Alexisonfire, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Norma Jean. They signed to British independent record label, Lockjaw Records, in September 2009, releasing their debut EP entitled 'Speaking In Colours' at the end of March 2010. Shirukume toured with other British acts to support the release, including Malefice and No Consequence. Shirukume also released a promo video for the single 'Through Prison Bars', directed by Chris Hammond. Shirukume was managed by Enterprise Music Management in early 2010. Wikipedia [ - ]
