The Screen Test Home Video Adventure was an Interactive Experience attraction formerly located at Universal Studios Florida. It gave guests the opportunity to star in one of two films, Your Day at Universal Studios or The Star Trek Adventure. It was closed November 11, 1996, and replaced by The Islands of Adventure Preview Center in 1997. The Screen Test Home Video Adventure merchandise attraction was located in the same building as another of Universal's former attractions Kongfrontation. The STHVA attraction was located behind the portion of the building with the facade for the Paramount Theater. Once inside, guests could choose to be the star of either Your Day at Universal, an adventure through the park and its attractions, or The Star Trek Adventure, an original mini episode filmed specifically for the attraction and starring the cast from the original series. After deciding how many copies of their chosen video to purchase, guests would then select the proper wardrobe-a velcroed Star Fleet uniform that fit over their own clothes for the Star Trek Adventure, or maybe a touristy shirt or tee to cover up any blue they may have been wearing (blue would show as invisible in the [ - ]
