Tom Alciere is a controversial figure in New Hampshire politics and a frequent candidate for elective office. He was elected to the New Hampshire state legislature as a Republican in 2000, but resigned almost immediately when Internet posts he made advocating killing police officers surfaced. He has run for partisan office as a Democrat, a Republican, and a Libertarian.
