Zauber Tondos is a series of four round pantings by Igor Kufayev, the project was conceived in the autumn of 1995, following the original larger tondo Zauber painted to accompany the performance of Mozart's Die Zauberflote, and completed by the summer of 1997. Each tondo represents a particular aspect of Universal order. Thus tondo ''Zauber. Elements'' represents the classical four elements of nature. Tondo ''Zauber. Space'' the four cardinal directions of Space. Tondo ''Zauber. Time'' stands for an allegory of day and night, dawn and dusk in their perfect balance. Finally tondo ''Zauber. Seasons'' depicts rotating cycle of change in Nature.
