When you think about it, a periodical is a product, and it's not the same as its publishing company -- even if they have the same or similar names. They should be entered as separate topics in Freebase. For example, Apollo's publisher is "Apollo Magazines, Ltd.". If the company doesn't already exist in Freebase, one can be created. The distinction is obvious when you think of a company that offers a selection of magazine titles or other media products (e.g. <a href="/view/en/news_corporation">News Corp.</a>).</p> <p>To link a periodical to its publishing company, use the "Publisher" property of <a href="/type/schema/book/periodical?domain=/book">Periodical</a>.
