Hi, The explanation why I want to get rid of the page is simply a privacy issue. I am having major problems with my employer due to my involvement in underground music (yes, its silly as hell).

I am trying to change the name to "Christian R." or if that isnt possible delete. I hope you understand that Im not doing this for fun or out of a big ego or anything.

If you are having trouble making edits, please ask for help rather than attempting to come up with your own solutions to problems. Deleting the topics is the wrong thing to do as Freebase attempts to keep persistent identifiers for every topic, and deleting and recreating the topic will give it a new identifier.

In this case, you have encountered a long-standing bug in the browse view where it will still display topics even though they no longer have the appropriate types. The workaround is to make sure that you explicitly unlink the topics before removing types from them, which I'll do in these cases.

The author made a few wrong connections like "Ragtime," "Moto Perpetuo," "H" and others. I deleted the mistakes and created new, correct pages but the computer did not get rid of them. Now we have on the topic page everything double, my corrections AND the old mistakes. I presume it is easier to delete and recreate the pages than to correct the faults. That's why.
