my bad. I said I'd do it and I only just proposed some schema on the data-modeling list. Versioning of software is a little more complex than one would think. I'll report back here when we have resolution.

What the status with getting a supported application/OS requirements?

Browser requirement (version/OS).

Flash (yes/no/version).

I'd like to add a property for the "official" URL to either view (if web app), download or launch (i.e., Java WebStart) a Freebase Application. Currently, people are just using the Web Links property, but that doesn't differentiate it from other random links about the application.

It seems like this should be a property on the Software type since it's conceptually common to all applications (although I suppose you could name it more literally if there were separate Web Application, Installed Software, etc. co-types).

So does it make sense to add this to Software? What should it be called... "Application URL".... "Run"?

It would be useful to know which browsers were supported by each application. IE5,6,7 Firefox 1.5,2,3, Safari etc
