  • Bob's experience spans over thirty years in information technology, consulting and services. As former Chairman of Scient Incorporated, Bob helped start the company as its CEO and built it to over 2,000 professionals in ten quarters. Prior to Scient, Bob was the general manager of IBM's global banking, financial and securities business. Bob's responsibilities included the sales and marketing of all IBM products, software and services as well as the definition, creation, sales and delivery of solutions for the banking industry, which is the largest customer base at IBM. In addition, Bob was also instrumental in the creation of Integrion, an electronic consortium that represented the interests and investments of 18 of North America's leading banks such as NationsBank, Citicorp and Bank of America. During his tenure at IBM, Bob founded the IBM Consulting practice. Bob created the strategy and built a worldwide network of consulting practices, which supported all industries. When he left in 1994, the consulting group had grown to $250 million in revenues and today is one of the largest consulting organizations worldwide. Bob also had a distinguished career with Booz, Allen Hamilton starting in 1976, where he consulted extensively in the information technology arenas. He was a member of the firm's worldwide commercial systems practice and the worldwide financial services practice. He was elected Senior Vice President in 1986 and served as a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the firm's executive committee. In addition, he serves on the Board of SBI Company as well as JohnsonDiversey. He has also started Montgomery Goodwin Investments, LLC. Bob holds a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
