N Gopalakrishnan en
N. Gopalakrishnan (born November 20, 1955) is spiritual teacher from Kerala, India. In 1999, he, along with a few others, founded a charitable organization named Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage (IISH) at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for learning and teaching Indian Heritage. He is the Director of Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage and devoting full time for establishing the National Heritage Center for learning and teaching the Indian Scientific heritage. He was born into a Hindu family at Thrippunithura near Ernakulam, Kerala, India, to Narayanan Embrandiri and Satyabhama. He earned an M. Sc. Applied Chemistry, M. Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry and M.A. Industrial Sociology, as well as a Ph. D in Biochemistry and D.Litt. in Sanskrit. He is the only scientist who has been awarded D.Litt. for his research and studies in Sanskrit. He is a scientist who has 28 years of research experience, 50 scientific research papers in national and international scientific journals, 7 patents, 6 awards for scientific research, 9 science popularization awards from India and abroad, two fellowships and 60 books to his credit.
