Manjula was an Indian film actress who acted in Kannada language films apart from few Tamil and Telugu films. She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films throughout the 1980's. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards including the Filmfare Award for her performances. She started her career as a theater artist and then switched over to feature films with Mane Katti Nodu in the year 1965. She was more popular for her portrayal of "bubbly" characters and is considered to be the foremost bubbly actress in Kannada cinema. Wikipedia [ - ]
