Beyond Sanctuary is both a fictional setting in the Sacred Band of Stepsons universe and the name of the first in Janet Morris's trilogy of novels set there. Beyond Sanctuary lies Wizardwall, Nisibis and Black Nisibis, and Mygdonia, where sorcerers and gods vie for control of heaven and earth. Beyond Sanctuary also contains Free Nisibis, Tyse, Peace Falls, and Sacred Band if Stepsons' Hidden Valley stock farm.
