  • Deborah Winters is an American actress who starred in 17 movies and numerous television productions including the popular miniseries, "The Winds of War." Her best known films were, "Kotch" with Walter Matthau, "Class of ’44" with Gary Grimes, "The People Next Door" with Eli Wallach/Julie Harris, and "America: A Call to Greatness" with Charlton Heston. She has appeared theatrically in leading roles in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Country Girl," and "Close Ties." She has won awards for her work including Best Actress for Cat and the miniseries, "Behind the Mask." After completing a lead role in the 1999/2000 series, "Y2K: World in Crisis," Winters left the film profession and studied to become a Realtor. As a real estate agent, she has received Bronze and Silver awards from her company, Keller Williams, and the coveted Five Star Realtor Award in 2011. This award is only given to 7% of all Realtors nationwide. Deborah Winters is married to film director and behavioral scientist, Warren Chaney. They have five children.
