Michael Mostyn en
Michael Mostyn (born May 6, 1974) is a Canadian lawyer, businessman, human rights activist, and the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario nominee for the riding of York Centre in the 2011 provincial election. He is the former National Director of Public Affairs for B'nai B'rith Canada and was the Conservative Party of Canada candidate in York Centre during the 2004 and 2006 federal elections. Born and raised in Toronto, Mostyn has been a long time resident of York Centre, attending two local high schools – CHAT and William Lyon Mackenzie. Mostyn received his B.A. in Philosophy from The University of Western Ontario in 1996, also receiving the Honour W Award. He then graduated with his Juris Doctor from The University of Western Ontario Law School in 1999. Awards included First Place Award in the Harrison Elwood Contract Drafting Competition and the Douglas May Memorial Award. He was also certified as a mediator at the school's Dispute Resolution Center. Mostyn and his wife Ella are the parents of two young children. In his spare time Mostyn enjoys playing hockey, reading, and skiing. He is the author of articles published by various national media, and is a popular speaker on [ - ]
