<p>Brian Ownby (born July 16, 1990) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer.
In 2008, Ownby appeared in 19 games and started 14 of them. He scored five goals and added four assists. Ownby was named to Soccer America All-Freshman second team and to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region second team. He earned ACC All-Freshman team honors and was named to ACC All-Tournament team. Ownby appeared in 72 career games, with 50 starts, and finished with 21 goals and 10 assists for 52 points. The following year, he appeared in 15 games and started six matches. He finished season with three goals and one assist. Ownby was named to the 2009 NCAA College Cup All-Tournament team. He was part of squad that won 2009 NCAA men's soccer championship. Ownby also scored the golden goal against Wake Forest in NCAA semifinal. In 2010, he earned first team All-ACC honors. Ownby named to the VaSID All-State second team.
