<p>Jonas Gray (born June 27, 1990) is an American football running back for the Miami Dolphins. He was signed as an undrafted free agent shortly after the 2012 NFL Draft ended. Jonas Gray is 5’10” and 230 pounds. He played college football at The University of Notre Dame. From Pontiac, Michigan, Jonas Gray went to high school at Detroit Country Day.
2011 Senior Season: 2011 was his most successful season. Jonas played in eleven games (4 starts). He tallied 791 yards and 12 touchdowns. His longest carry was a 79-yard run. Jonas averaged 71.9 yards per game (6.9 per carry). He began the season with a rough start by fumbling inside the 5-yard line. The fumble led to a Notre Dame loss to USF. After that, however, he turned his season around and helped the Fighting Irish quite a bit. His season was ended early on November 19 when he tore his ACL.
2010 Junior Season: Saw action in seven games in 2010. He was fourth on the team in rushing despite missing five games to a knee injury. He totaled 100 yards on 20 carries and registered one rush of 20 yards or more. He also collected three rushes of 10 yards or more.
