2004 was the first year that Whistling Straits hosted a PGA Championship or any Grand Slam event. The Straits Course will hold the PGA Championship in 2010 and 2015, along with the 2020 Ryder Cup. The course also hosted the 2007 U.S. Senior Open, won by Brad Bryant.
