2006 Alexander Valley Vineyards "Sin Zin" Zinfandel

The 2006 edition shows classic Sin Zin and Alexander Valley characteristics. There are notes of boysenberry and wild strawberry along with some crushed black pepper. But it's also a touch darker and richer than some previous versions. That is attributed to the addition of a small amount of Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley to the blend before the wine is aged in French and American oak.  more
