Inside a waiting area, Jack speaks to Marilyn Bauer who tells him about Audrey Raines's accidental death while in China (presumed on a mission to locate Jack while in captivity). Furious, Jack confronts Chloe O'Brian and Bill separately, the two people Jack trusted the most, asking why he was never told about Audrey's mission to save Jack and her subsequent death. After he reads the file on Audrey, Jack demands to be reinstated to active duty, noting to Bill that once the current crisis is over, he will see revenge against the person(s) responsible for Audrey's death.
