"7A WF 83429" is episode 89 of The West Wing. 7A WF 83429 is the control number assigned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to Zoey's kidnapping case.
As the fifth season opens, it is seven hours after Zoey Bartlet's kidnapping and the President has temporarily relinquished his office to Republican House Speaker Glen Allen Walken, who reviews military options upon receiving a ransom note demanding the release of Pakistani terrorists and a pullout of U.S. troops from Saudi Arabia and Qumar. Also unhappy with the President is his eldest daughter, Elizabeth, who has arrived at the White House with her husband and two children.
It was the first episode written by John Wells after taking over as sole show runner after Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme left at the end of the fourth season.
