When Roger ruins Steve's science project, Steve yells at him, sending him to the attic in tears. Alone, Roger reminisces through song about how he and Steve would always hang out when he first came to live with the Smiths, but how Steve now wants to be around girls and his friends instead of Roger. When that doesn't make him feel any better, he gets drunk, wanders around town and ends up, sans disguise, in the backyard of a little boy named Henry.
At first, Roger enjoys hanging out with Henry, but the relationship turns abusive when Henry beats up Roger for not doing what he says while playing submarine. When Roger comes home with a black eye and shows signs of battered person syndrome, Steve unsuccessfully tries to stop him from seeing Henry again. Henry continues to abuse Roger until the panicked alien finally...
