A Tempestade (or O Livro dos Dias) is the eighth album by Brazilian rock band Legião Urbana, recorded during the first semester of 1996 and released on the Emi-Odeon label on September 20, 1996, three weeks before Renato Russo's death. By this time, Russo was living a mostly reclusive life because of his disease, avoided doing interviews and having his pictures taken. Probably reflecting this condition, the album features some of the saddest songs the band ever recorded, among them the hit "A Via Láctea". The album was intended to be a double one, but it was eventually trimmed down to one disc, mainly due to economic reasons. Some of the remaining material was eventually released on the posthumous album Uma Outra Estação, on the following year.
