Acción mutante is a 1993 science fiction black comedy directed by Álex de la Iglesia. In a future post-apocalyptic world ruled by good-looking people, a terrorist group of disabled people who see themselves as mutants take arms against their oppressors to rid the world of "beautiful people" and superficiality. They are fabulously inept at what they do, and totally mistrustful of each other. They assassinate body builders, massacre an aerobics class on live TV, and blow up a sperm bank as part of their violent campaign. Led by their recently released chief Ramon Yarritu, they kidnap Patricia, the daughter of wealthy businessman Orujo, in the middle of her own wedding. The wedding turns into a massacre but they manage to flee with Patricia as their hostage . With Patricia's lips stapled together, they escape from the police in their spaceship. Ramon, scheming to take all the ransom money for himself, turns the members of the gang against one another by convincing them there is a traitor... less
