Princess Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen (baptised Adelheid Amalie Luise Theresa Carolin, later anglicised to Adelaide Louise Theresa Caroline Amelia; later Queen Adelaide; 13 August 1792 – 2 December 1849) was the queen consort of William IV. She was the last queen consort of the House of Hanover in Britain. The Australia city of Adelaide is named after her.
