Aero Fighters 2 is a vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game released in 1994 by Video System. The game is played with two buttons, with Button A to fire bullets from the plane and Button B to launch a special bomb attack which uses a bomb from the bomb inventory. The player starts off with two bombs. Power bullets can be obtained by destroying buildings and armored enemy planes. If Power bullets have 'P' on them they raise a power level to the plane's firepower but a bullet with 'F' on it will bring the firepower to max. The max firepower however lasts for a certain amount of time, but it can be conserved by not firing for later use. When certain ground enemies and buildings are destroyed, money bonuses appear which give randomly 500-10000 points a piece. When the player reaches the end of the stage, the player has to face a boss ship and destroy by aiming for its one or several weak points.
