Ahmed bin Salman was a member of the House of Saud and a media executive who also was a major figure in international Thoroughbred horse racing. Prince Ahmed was born in Riyadh on November 17, 1958. He was the third eldest son of Salman bin Abdulaziz and Sultana bin Turki al Sudairi. He is full brother of Prince Fahd, Prince Sultan, Prince Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal and Princess Hussa. Ahmedbin Salman was a graduate of University of California, Irvine. He also received military education. In Saudi Arabia, Ahmed bin Salman went into business, eventually becoming chairman of Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), a media company with branch offices in London, England. SRMG is reported to be the largest media company in the Middle East. After his death, his full brother Prince Faisal became the chairman of SRMG.
