Al Singer ("The Bronx Beauty) (September 6, 1909, in New York, NY – April 20, 1961) was an American boxer. He was born in the Lower East Side in New York City. Singer captured the World Lightweight Championship in July, 1930, with a first round knockout (1:46) of champion Sammy Mandell.
