Alan Dunn (born November 19, 1961 in Gadsden, Alabama) is a former Minor League Baseball player and is currently the bullpen coach for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. Alan Dunn (born November 19, 1961 in Gadsden, Alabama) is a former Minor League Baseball player and is currently the bullpen coach for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. Dunn was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 4th round of the 1983 amateur draft. He would play in the minor league with the Tigers and the New York Mets form 1983–1985. Following his playing days, he coached at Vanderbilt University, and became a scout for the Chicago Cubs in 1983. He would be a coach in the Cubs minor league system for 14 years, from 1993 to 2007. In the middle of the 2007 season, Dunn became the Bullpen coach of the Baltimore Orioles.
