The Times Union is a daily newspaper, serving the Capital Region of New York state, United States. Although the newspaper focuses on Albany, New York and its suburbs, it covers all parts of the five-county metropolitan area, including the cities of Troy, New York, Schenectady and Saratoga Springs.
