Albert Freiherr von Schrenck-Notzing (18 May 1862 – 12 February 1929) was a German doctor who devoted much of his time to the study of séance room paranormal events, hypnotism and telepathy. He investigated spiritualist mediums such as Willi Schneider, Rudi Schneider, and Valentine Dencausse. Regarding personal names: Freiherr is a title, translated as Baron, not a first or middle name.
