The Aleuts (self-denomination from Aleut language allíthuh 'community'; older or regional self-denomination Unangax̂, Unangan or Unanga 'coastal people') are the indigenous people of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska, United States and Kamchatka Krai, Russia.
