She is an international motivational speaker and the Founder/President of the empowerment company, I Am That Girl. Early Life Jones was born Alexis Whitney Jones in Austin, Texas. She is the daughter of engineer Mark Jones and paralegal Claudia Mann. She has four older brothers and a younger sister. As a child, she lived in Westlake, a suburb of Austin, Texas. Alexis began modeling at the age of 14 when she was discovered by Jeff Knightbyrd while in a mechanic store with her mother. She was immediately signed to the prestigious modeling agency, Acclaim in Austin.
