Alfred John "Alf" Goulding (26 January 1896 in Melbourne, Australia - 25 April 1972 in Hollywood, California) was an Australian-born American film director and screenwriter. He directed 182 films between 1917 and 1959. He was the youngest brother of the celebrated opera singer Elsa Goulding. He died in Hollywood, California from pneumonia.
