Very little is known about the Primarch of the Alpha Legion, even less than the other Legions' leaders. Alpharius and his Legion were renowned for their secret-keeping, even from their brother Space Marines. He was the last Primarch to be found before the Horus Heresy, which is fitting, as Alpharius Omegon's name is derived from the Greek letter "omega" which is the last letter of the Greek alphabet. Indeed, even though this was the last legion to be founded they were still named the "Alpha" legion and their original legion symbol was the letter "A" (see below).
