He was selected with the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA D-League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce and was named D-League Performer of the Week for December 18, 2006, averaging 23.3 points and 11.2 rebounds in 13 games during the month. He led the league in scoring with 22.8 points per game, and was second in rebounding at 10.8 boards per game.
