He was educated at the Open University where he gained an honours degree in psychology, was then trained in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy at NSHAP in 1997 and became a registered UKCP psychotherapist. He has worked with many of the proponents of regression therapy and dedicated his practice in it over the last decade.
Tomlinson’s books have been praised by proponents of Regression Therapy.
Tomlinson lectures and writes widely, has published an article in the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis, co-authored an article with Roger Woolger in the Scientific and Medical Network, and given presentations at the First World Congress for Regression Therapy at Holland in 2003. He is also a co founder of the European Association of Regression Therapy.
Tomlinson runs training programs in Europe, Asia and Australia.
