After signing to Filthy Little Angels records in 2006 , Aria gained notoriety for the fact that his music is self produced. Generally, his songs consist of full rock music instrumentation, with influences of new wave music heard in his use of synthesizers and art rock heard in his diverse set of instruments, including but not limited to the sitar, dulcimer, mandolin, glockenspiel, lute, and accordion. However, all instruments on his recordings are played by himself. When performing live, his act expands to a four -person operation, with Aria singing and playing various instruments, predominantly guitar.
